Now Hiring – Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant or Canadian Immigration Lawyer

Doherty Fultz Immigration Inc. is a mid-sized immigration and citizenship consulting firm located in Toronto, ON. We are currently seeking a junior staff member with representation capability in order to service our growing number of corporate and personal immigration clients. With the help of senior staff, the junior staff member will manage the casefiles of current and new clients from file opening to final decision, including communication with clients, billing, submission writing, application compilation, administration, and submission.
Compensation:
- The successful candidate will receive a starting base salary of a range between CAD$40,000 and CAD$60,000 based on experience.
- Commission will also be paid on professional fees paid by clients who were retained by the successful candidate
- The job can be performed fully remotely or hybrid with appearances in the office from time to time
The successful candidate must:
- Be a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant licensed and in good standing with the College, or Canadian lawyer or Quebec Notary, who has no previous, pending, or current disciplinary proceedings
- Have at least 1 year of experience in the Canadian immigration legal field (experience does not need to have occurred while licensed)
- Have experience with all Express Entry categories and OINP applications

Job Specifications:
Knowledge:
- Strong knowledge of Express Entry and OINP applications
- Working knowledge of Family Sponsorship applications for both In-Canada and Family Class
- Working knowledge of TRV/Visitor Visa applications
- Working knowledge of IRCC website including application guides, forms, and operational manuals
Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year in the Canadian immigration law field with knowledge of Express Entry and OINP required
- Experience with sales is a very strong asset
Skills:
- Excellent computer skills in the operation of Microsoft Office, Dropbox, and Adobe Acrobat PDF software.
- Excellent communication skills with regard to both clients (oral/written/in person), and government agencies (written).
- Excellent time-management, prioritization, and deadline management.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
