Originally from the United States, Cassandra immigrated to Canada in 2008. Cassandra (R#514356) began her career in the Canadian immigration industry in 2009. She founded Doherty Fultz Immigration, located in Toronto, in 2014.
Cassandra received her designation as a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant with the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (formerly ICCRC) in 2015. She also holds the designation of Specialist on the Immigration and Refugee Board where she represents clients in front of Canada’s immigration tribunal for refugee claims and immigration appeals.
At DFI, Cassandra specializes in immigration cases pertaining to Procedural Fairness Letters (PFL), Study Permits, and PR Card Renewal on Humanitarian and Compassionate Grounds.
She has extensive experience with applications for Criminal Rehabilitation, Temporary Resident Permits, Canadian citizenship, Family Sponsorship, and Visitor Visas. Cassandra continues to advocate for her clients with an impressive success rate, including for applications with prior refusals.

Given her extensive experience in the immigration field, she is a regular contributor to discussions pertaining to current immigration issues on Global News Toronto and nationwide Global News Radio stations, among other news agencies across Canada.
Cassandra is also the Program Director and an instructor of the Immigration Case Manager program at Herzing College Toronto Campus, where she teaches immigration law, mentors students, and contributes to ongoing course development. She has been part of the Herzing faculty since 2017, and was named Herzing College Faculty of the Year for all of Canada in 2021.
Cassandra is also a Sommelier certified by the Canadian Association of Professional Sommeliers.
