There are still 16,854 open slots for IEC participants as of October 6. According to the latest update from the IEC, applications for the current season are presently being processed in six weeks.

How to apply:
- Post your profile through your IRCC account in order to be considered for an invitation. You can use the same account if you already submitted a profile, but you must establish a new profile.
- Obtain a formal invitation: You need to be invited before you can submit an application for a work permit.
- Submit an application for a work permit: You have 10 days to decide whether to accept the invitation, and if you agree, you will have 20 days to prepare and submit your application after that.
